MORRIS dancers will be shaking a leg in Hampton Lucy on St George’s Day.
More than 100 dancers will be performing from teams including Shakespeare Morris, White Hart Morris Men, Appleyard Morris, Hereburgh Morris, Coventry Morris Men, Knightlow Morris Men, First Class Stamp Appalachian, Belle D’Vain North West Morris, Plum Jerkum and Pebworth Morris Men.
The dancing will take place outside the Boars Head on Monday April 23, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, before hosts Shakespeare Morris perform their St George’s Day Mummers Play inside the pub, with a folk music session to finish.
