THE ANNUAL greeting of the summer was played out against a very grey and misty background at Chesterton Windmill on May Day (May 1).
The Hereburgh Morris side from Harbury were joined by a small crowd of early-risers for what has become a firm date on the folk calendar.
After a varied selection of dances, it was time for the onlookers to lay down their cameras and dance a circuit of the restored windmill.
