A MOTHER and daughter from Stratford have written about life at the sharp end of diabetes.
Lisa-Marie Clarke and her daughter Fea have penned a book entitled #T1dDoesntStopUs : A Comprehensive Guide to Navigating Type 1 Diabetes.
The book, co-authored with fellow diabetes sufferer Julien Thiebaut, is geared at providing essential support and guidance to individuals and families affected by Type 1 Diabetes.
Lisa-Marie and 12 year-old Fea combined their experiences to create a resource covering everything from the basics of T1D management to inspiring stories from the global T1D community.
Their goal is to distribute this book in schools, libraries, and hospitals to ensure it reaches those who need it most.
They said: “We believe this book will be an essential resource for teenagers, families, friends, schools, and beyond. It aims to reduce feelings of isolation and provide a self-teaching guide for those living with or supporting someone with T1D.”
