Mouth-watering line up of food and music at Leamington's Pub in the Park

PUB in the Park is heading to Leamington this weekend for the first time with a line up of top chefs, pubs and music.

Previously held in neighbouring St Nicholas Park in Warwick, it will be taking place in Victoria Park from June 30 to July 2.

Geordie chef synonymous with comfort food cooking, Si King of Hairy Bikers fame, will be hosting Saturday of the festival, alongside Sunday Brunch host Simon Rimmer who will be launching the three-day celebration on Friday evening.

And award-winning chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen will be joining the fun on Lazy Sunday. Festival-goers can expect exclusive Q&A’s and live demos.

Other chefs and experts popping along include Andy Clarke, Chris Bavin, Ellen Manning aka Eat with Ellen, Sam & Shauna and more, who will be giving cooking tips on the Miele Chef Demo Stage.

New up and coming restaurants never before seen at Pub in the Park will be bringing new flavours to experience from local legends Dough & Brew and an eclectic mix of gastro delights from Leamington locals The Drawing Board, as well as refined country pub favourites from The White Lion.

If that wasn’t enough, Tom Kerridge’s two Michelin-starred The Hand and Flowers will be dishing up, alongside Michelin starred Purnell’s and an Indian culinary experience from Mr Todiwala’s Kitchen.

They will be joined by big music names.

On Friday night, Bananarama will be bringing the party for opening night, joined by The Beatles Dub Club.

Get ready for ‘dancing in the moonlight’ as crowd-pleasing English trio Toploader headline Saturday afternoon supported by the Dick and Dom DJ set.

Saturday evening sees Ronan Keating and Deco take to the stage. They will be joined by 80s collective Soul II Soul Soundsystem who will be closing the festival on Lazy Sunday, alongside The Christians.

Si King said: ”I’m seriously looking forward to Pub in the Park Leamington Spa this year. If amazing food and live music sounds like your thing, then head to the website and get tickets now! I can guarantee you won’t regret it.”
