ARTS and Dementia, Warwickshire is bringing a new Music, Movement and Memories programme to Kenilworth, starting on Monday September 26.
It is a gentle all-body stretching programme to well-known and memorable pop songs from recent decades, gently guided by experienced dancer Kath Kimber-McTiffen.
Each session is based on relatable themes such as days out, celebrations and school days and there is also plenty of time for tea and chat.
Participants do not need a diagnosis of dementia to take part, and those with limited mobility can remain seated if they prefer.
All sessions are free of charge. Each course last six weeks and includes activities to carry on at home. Sessions will run on Mondays frm 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
