Musicians with autism invited to feature on album

YOUNG musicians with autism are invited to feature on an album to showcase their creativity.

Leamington-based education provider Lamp has received a £29,000 grant from charity Youth Music to record and release an album of new music by young people on the autistic spectrum.

It will feature up to 15 artists from Warwickshire aged between 14 and 21.

Lamp is calling for anyone interested in taking part in the album to get in touch.

Director Pip Burley said: “This project is a much needed opportunity to help kickstart the professional careers of neurodiverse musicians who face challenges in gaining the recognition they deserve.”

Once the album is recorded it will be issued on Spotify and Apple Music.
