MYTON Hospices has received a £2,000 donation following Warwick Rotary’s Christmas Lights of Love appeal.
It saw people donate money for a card on the Christmas tree in Warwick’s Market Square.
Warwick Rotary president David Brain handed over the donation. He was joined by Warwick mayor Terry Morris who agreed the portion of the donations which usually go to the mayor’s charities would also go to Myton.
It came after the hospice – which has inpatient units in Warwick, Coventry and Rugby, along with offering community care to those with life-limiting illnesses – said it had a difficult year with the pandemic affecting services and fund-raising.
