A MYTON student has brought a taste of Italy to Warwickshire after cooking up a successful business idea.
George Carter’s GCSEs were cancelled last year due to the pandemic and he felt his time at Myton School had been cut short.
But the 16-year-old – who has travelled extensively throughout Italy over the past 10 years on family holidays – decided to channel his passion for pizza and pasta into cooking up a business.
Under the name ‘Pasta Brothers’ George began to sell his artisan handmade pasta, sauces and pizza kits to family and friends from his home in Bishops Tachbrook.
But after attracting customers through social media and word of mouth, business has soared over the last six months.
The entrepreneurial teen said: “During lockdown many families have been cooking the same meals. I offer an alternative to home cooking fatigue.”
George is now at Myton Sixth Form studying A levels in business studies, economics and product design while continuing to run his business.
