National Trust properties in south Warwickshire need volunteers

VOLUNTEERS are needed at National Trust properties across south Warwickshire.

Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House near Warwick, Coughton Court in Alcester, and Charlecote Park near Wellesbourne are seeking volunteers in a variety of roles to become part of their teams.

There are lots of volunteering opportunities available for people of all ages, interests and backgrounds including House, Events, Welcome and Food and Beverage Volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, build skills and confidence and donate time to a charity all in one go.

And some of the properties are holding open days for prospective volunteers to drop in, ask questions and meet current volunteers and staff.

Pop into Packwood on January 28 between 9am and 11am, Baddesley on February 18 between 9am and 11am, Coughton on January 26 between 10am and 12 noon and Charlecote Park on January 25 between 10.30am and 1pm for a chance to meet the teams.

Amy Evans, Senior Volunteering and Community Officer said: “We are excited to be recruiting more volunteers to join our teams at our National Trust places in Warwickshire. There are lots of different roles available across the different properties, so we’re sure you’ll find something that sparks your interest. You don’t need experience, you just need to be welcoming, positive and ready to learn. Volunteers can claim their travel expenses too, so that you’re never out of pocket.”
