NATURE lovers are being called on to help restore a woodland area.
The Paintings Plantation in Sydenham was first planted back in 2004 as a project to encourage pupils from nearby schools to appreciate nature and the environment, and also for older people with dementia to enjoy.
The area was overgrown until it received much-needed TLC last year and is now ready for replanting with native bulbs and wildflowers.
It is named after the late Norman Painting, BBC Radio 4’s Phil Archer of The Archers for many decades, who was also patron of Age UK Warwickshire and vice president of The Tree Council.
The conservation work lead by former CEO of Age UK Warwickshire Elizabeth Phillips, is suitable for all levels of ability.
Call Elizabeth on 07831 291007 for more details.
