Nature lovers called to make Green Pledge at Stratford Butterfly Farm

ECO-MINDED visitors to Stratford Butterfly Farm are being invited to make a green promise.

The pledges to protect nature can be made throughout the summer and actioned at home, school or work.

Visitors will also be able to explore the Rainforest Realm – including Kenny the Caiman and three baby yellow spotted Amazon river turtles.

Butterfly Farm spokeswoman Jane Kendrick said: “We would love our visitors to pledge their love to nature and make a green action promise this summer. Rainforest Realm opened in March and has proved incredibly popular with our visitors. Kenny has settled in so well along with our new Central American inhabitants.”

All the pledges will be entered into a weekly prize draw to win a family season ticket to the butterfly farm.

The Myton Hospice drinks van will also be pulling up at the tourist attraction, serving a range of drinks and cakes in the wildflower garden on selected dates throughout the holidays, with all proceeds going to the hospice.
