YOUNGSTERS can now enjoy a new and modern play area at Midland Oak in Leamington.
The new Midland Oak Play Area, near Lillington, features a kick about area, timber trail, multi play unit and inclusive play items including springers, swings and a roundabout.
There is also a sensory zone consisting of a planting area with herbs such as sage and rosemary, a sensory pathway and tactile play panels.
Warwick District Council is also installing new equipment, as part of a £250,000 upgrade, in Othello Avenue and Ophelia Drive in Warwick Gates, Twycross Walk on the Woodloes in Warwick, and Rushmore Street in Leamington.
Spokesman Coun David Norris said: “This investment will give our local communities fun, safe and accessible open spaces to enjoy for many years to come.”
