A NEW car park serving rail passengers in Leamington will open in the new year.
Due to the next phase of a major regeneration of land around Leamington station, Chiltern Railways is opening a new station car park offering 230 spaces on the former Travis Perkins Builders Merchants site on the Old Warwick Road. It will open on January 7, with more spaces added in February.
On the same day the current station car park on Station Approach, operated by Warwick District Council, will close permanently
to allow for the land to be regenerated for new housing.
The new car park will include charging points for ten electric cars. Passengers will be able to pay for their parking through Ringo.
