A NEW coffee and cocktail bar could be coming to Leamington.
Plans have been submitted to Warwick District Council to convert offices above the Cashbrokers branch opposite the town hall on The Parade.
Developers hope to convert the two floors above the shop into a bar, seating area, office and storeroom.
Access would be through a stairwell to the side of the building and original features including high ceilings and fireplaces would be uncovered.
It would be open between 2pm to 11pm Monday to Saturday, and midday to 9pm on Sundays.
A spokeswoman said: “As it stands our business model of a high end, sophisticated dedicated cocktail bar is something that cannot currently be found within the town centre.
“We aim to use the listed building to its full potential, uncovering original internal features of the building which have previously been covered up and hidden by past users, bringing a new lease of life to the town centre building.”
