NHS-supporting constituents are urged to team up for a photo in the service’s 70th year.
Warwick and Leamington MP Matt Western is organising a celebration on Saturday (July 7) at 10.45am outside Leamington Town Hall.
He is calling for 70 people, with born in each year since 1948 – when the National Health Service was formed – to gather for a photo.
He said: “This is a great opportunity to demonstrate how much we all value and love the NHS. It would be great to have a representative from every year there.”
There will also be stalls across the district celebrating the service, explaining more about its history and giving NHS supporters the chance to sign a NHS birthday card.
Anyone interested in taking part in the photo should email [email protected] with their name and the year they were born.
