BINGO and a treasure hunt are just some of the events lined-up for a Leamington friendship group.
Heart of England Oddfellows is celebrating its Friendship Month throughout September by holding events to entice new members.
The society, which provides opportunities for older adults to make new friendships, will be hosting a table top treasure hunt on September 2 at Oddfellows Hall in New Street, Leamington, followed by a lunch at Thomas Lloyd in Warwick on September 21 and bingo with cheese and wine, also at Oddfellows Hall, on September 29.
Yvette Glover, Branch Secretary of the Heart of England Oddfellows, said: “We’ve a wonderful range of personalities and people here at the Oddfellows. September’s the perfect time to try us out as we’ve some great Friendship Month events lined up, as well as our usual warm welcome.”
