THE ODIA Society of Leamington celebrates Lord Jagannath’s annual Rath Yatra on Sunday (July 14).
Non-Odia Indians and other nationalities are invited to join the celebrations at the Shree Krishna Temple at 10B High Street from 10am to 4pm.
There will be cultural and devotional activities together with entertainment for children and food.
The Jagannath Ratha Yatra of Puri, Odisha, India; also known as the Ratha Yatra is considered the oldest and largest Hindu chariot festival. It is celebrated annually on the bright half of the lunar month of Ashadh (June–July).
