ALL but one of the 55 men arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass at Leamington’s Sikh Temple have been released on bail.
Fifty five men aged between 17 and 39 were arrested following an incident at the Gurdwara on Tachbrook Park Drive on Sunday (September 11).
One man – a 30-year-old from Derby – is still being held in police custody but the remaining men have been released on bail until October while investigations continue.
Another man – aged 39 from Birmingham – was arrested on suspicion of causing racially aggravated fear or provocation of violence by words following an incident at Leamington Police Station on Sunday evening.
