ARRESTS were made following the discovery of a cannabis farm in Leamington.
Police arrested four men on Thursday (May 6) in connection with cannabis cultivation at a home in Radford Semele.
Officers responded to a report of men loading bags into a Mercedes Sprinter van that had pulled up in School Lane shortly before 12pm.
They searched the van and found cultivation equipment including pots and soil. Inside the property, a cannabis farm was discovered with 70 mature cannabis plants on the ground floor and a further 154 juvenile plants growing upstairs. Illegal modifications had been made to the electricity supply for the purpose of plant cultivation.
The men arrested were a 26-year-old from Dorset and three others aged 26, 35 and 36 of no fixed address. The men remain in detention while enquiries continue.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, any dash-cam or doorstep CCTV which may help investigations.
