CARING businesswomen are preparing to help pamper Leamington mums this weekend.

Vanessa O’Neill of Tropic Skincare & Cosmetics and Amanda Woodhead, owner of Blue Owl Therapy, have paired up to organise a special event in aid of The Myton Hospices.

‘Pampered with a Purpose’ is set to take place at the Falstaff Hotel on Sunday (March 15) from 6.30pm to 10pm, offering a host of treatments including facials, massages and manicures.

Guests will receive a complementary drink on arrival and a goody bag while there will also be the chance to buy jewellery, handbags, accessories, food and cakes.

The charity is very close to their hearts having both lost their father to cancer.

Amanda’s mother Brenda Woodhead said: “Myton’s support was so vital at such a vulnerable time and it continued after my husband had passed away.

“I will be eternally grateful to everyone at Myton and feel we must do our utmost to ensure this help is available to people who are suffering in the same way.”

Vanessa added: “It’s the first time we have organised an event like this and we are hoping to raise a minimum of £1,000 for a very worthy cause.

“We would love to see as many people as possible and would encourage everyone to spread the word on social media.”

Tickets – priced at £6 – can be booked online www.eventbrite.co.uk or by calling 07941 075831/07967 737469.

There will also be an option to pay on the door.
