A FORMER graveyard is in bloom – and a party is being held to celebrate.
Judges from Britain in Bloom will be heading to Leamington on Thursday (July 12) and are due to stop at New Street Burial Ground.
And volunteers from community group Arc – who began improving the site last year – will be holding a launch party between 10am and noon so visitors can see all the changes at the same time as judges.
Improvements have included an information board telling the history of the ground, a stepping stone path, a bug hotel and colourful mosaics.
