THOUSANDS gathered across the region this morning to pay their respects to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.
In Leamington and Kenilworth hundreds lined the streets and gathered at the towns respective War Memorial for the Remembrance Service.
Parades featuring veterans and members of many town organisations made its way from the British Legion Clubs to the memorials before civic dignitaries, including MPs Matt Western and Jeremy Wright, laid wreaths and observed the traditional silent tribute.
