THE CONSERVATIVES were also celebrating success after winning a Stratford District Council by-election in Ettiington on Thursday
Penny-Anne O’Donnell took the seat with 949 votes, from Bill Dowling (Liberal Democrat) with 227 votes, and Dave Passingham of the Green Party with 102 votes.
Turnout for was 47.2%.
