A PERSON who had fallen down a lift shaft had to be rescued by firefighters before being airlifted to hospital.
They fell around ten feet down the shaft at Haywood Road in Warwick at around 1.30pm today (Tuesday).
Firefighters and paramedics worked to safely remove the person from the shaft and they were then airlifted to hospital.
Crews are still on the scene.
