LGBT+ culture was celebrated in all its glorious technicolour in Leamington.
Warwickshire Pride returned to Leamington’s Pump Room Gardens on Saturday August 19.
This year organisers chose Pride is a Protest as the theme to highlight a rise in hate towards LGBT+ people, especially trans communities. Organisers said as Pride was founded as a protest, they felt it still needed to be a protest.
The festival once again had a Pride March to kick off the day with a parade through Leamington town centre.
And in the Pump Room Gardens there were some 100 stalls in a rainbow marketplace, food and drink, fairground rides for young and old, a trans chill out zone, women’s tent, bi zone, youth tent, education zone, and a stage of live entertainment., including drag queens.
