IT has been a perfect summer so far for messing about on the river – and that is just what this sun worshipper in Leamington decided to do.
And while a boy paddle boarding down the river Leam may be one of the more unusual sights, others have enjoyed the more traditional – like spending a day in the park topping up their tans or a cooling ice cream.
The heatwave is set to continue well into next week, with temperatures pushing 30 degrees.
People are reminded to try and use water carefully after Severn Trent said there was ‘excessive demand’ on the supply and to walk dogs early in the morning or evening after warnings from animal charities of pets overheating.
