A ROBBER shoved a woman and tried to steal money from her as she used a cash point in Warwick.

It happened outside Lloyds Bank in Swan Street around 11.50pm on Thursday (February 25).

The 61-year-old woman was withdrawing cash when a man shoved her from behind and attempted to grab her money from the machine.

The victim, who was uninjured, managed to cancel the transaction before the man ran off along Swan Street towards the museum in Town Square.

He is described as Asian, in his mid 30s, of medium build and around 5ft 6in. He was wearing a bright blue coat, a beanie hat and sunglasses.

Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
