Police appeal following robbery from Leamington cashpoint

A ROBBER withdrew money from an elderly woman’s bank account after distracting her.

It happened inside Lloyds Bank on the Parade around 12.20pm on Thursday (February 25).

The woman, who is believed to be in her 70’s, was withdrawing cash when a man pushed into her and distracted her attention. He then managed to withdraw a large amount of money from the victims account before leaving the scene.

He is described as an Asian man, aged between 25 and 35-years old, of medium build and around 5ft 6in with short dark hair. He was wearing a bright blue coat and dark jeans.
