Police hunt dog owner following attack in Leamington

POLICE are hunting the owner of a dog which attacked another dog in Leamington.

A 27-year-old man was walking his boxer dog through the park near Calder Walk when a blue/grey Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog attacked it.

The boxer dog sustained injuries to its face which required veterinary treatment following the attack at  around 7pm on Tuesday, September 8.

The owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog left without leaving any details.




He is described as a mixed-race man of a muscular build, between 19 to 23 years-old and around 6 ft 2” tall. He is thought to have black shaven hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.

Police want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 322 of 8th September.
