POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the attempted theft of an ATM in Kenilworth.
An unknown number of offenders accessed the former Natwest Bank on Warwick Road and tried to remove the cash machine.
The incident happened at around 2.30am on Sunday (May 12) and the suspects were not able to remove the machine or any cash.
After the incident emergency services cordoned off the area and made it safe.
They found a Peugeot car with registration ending ZHE.
Police spokesman Gareth Unett said: “While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing and we would really like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident and may have seen something suspicious.
“We would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the Peugeot vehicle outside the premises or has any dashcam footage of the incident or the location in the early hours of this morning.”
