A MAN has been charged after a police officer was headbutted after he stopped a car in Ryton-on-Dunsmore on Tuesday afternoon.
Aaron Statham, 31, is also accused failing to provide a specimen after officers stopped the car in High Street and possessing cannabis.
The 31-year-old, of William Iliffe Street, Hinckley, is charged with assaulting an emergency worker, failing to provide a specimen and possession of cannabis.
He will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on September 21.
