Police trying to track down witness to hate crime in Leamington car park

WARWICKSHIRE Police is appealing to identify a man who may be a witness to an ongoing hate crime investigation.

An altercation is reported to have taken place between two women in the car park of Sainsburys at Shires Retail Park in Leamington at around 5.30pm on Thursday June 30.

Racist language was reportedly used during the incident.

And it’s understood an elderly man was sat in a vehicle in the disabled parking bay during this time, and may have overheard the altercation.




As part of enquiries, officers would like to speak to this man as he may be a key witness. If anyone knows who he may be, or if anyone else also witnessed this incident, please call

Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 115 of 1 July 2022.
