LORD Lieutenant of Warwickshire Timothy Cox launched this year’s poppy appeal in Leamington.
A poppy carpet, completed at ‘Art in the Park’ in August, was laid to a musical accompaniment from Leamington and Warwick Sea Cadet band.
The Royal British Legion is encouraging people to ‘rethink remembrance’ by considering all generations of the armed forces when they wear their poppy this year.
