PRO-EU campaigners from the district descended on London at the weekend.
Members of Warwick District 4 Europe and Stratford 4 Europe joined the 100,000-strong pro-European march in the capital on Saturday to demand a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.
Peter Corkill, chair of Warwick District 4 Europe, said: “It is clear from the massive numbers that turned out that Brexit is not a done deal and that momentum for our campaign is growing every day. The March was the top story on BBC News at Ten, which even featured one of our own placards!”
“It was an amazing day and the huge numbers show that the People’s Vote campaign is taking off across the country on this vital issue for all our futures.
“Our street polls in Leamington and Kenilworth have consistently shown at least 80% in favour of a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal. We will be out campaigning all summer to make sure the people get their democratic right to have their voice heard on Brexit.”
