KENILWORTH Lions has once again teamed up with the Graham Fulford Trust to offer prostate cancer testing.

Last year the two organisations held a testing day in Kenilworth.

This year they will be providing home testing kits for any men over the age of 40 living in Kenilworth, Leek Wootton or Ashow.

The price for each kit is £22.99 and results will be returned via email.

Men can apply throughout November and a 50 per cent discount is available.

A Kenilworth Lions spokesman said: “Kenilworth Lions is offering a discount for applicants to use, if required, but the more people prepared to pay the full price the more people that can be tested within the funding available.

“Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men and testing involves a simple finger prick blood test which can detect prostate disease at an early stage and potentially save lives.

“Even if they have had a test before, all eligible men are encouraged to take up the new scheme on offer.”

Visit klc.mypsatests.org.uk to apply for a kit or for more information.
