PLANS to create a Canal Conservation Area will be discussed at a public meeting in Leamington on Thursday September 20.
Warwick District Council is seeking views on a proposal to create a designated conservation area along the district’s 40km canal network.
It aims to protect the heritage and boost activities on and around the canal, including the development of a Creative Quarter in Leamington’s Old Town.
The Canal Conservation Area appraisal document can be viewed on the council’s website.
The meeting is at Leamington Town Hall, and starts at 7pm.
