PUPILS started to return to their desks across Warwickshire this week – but things were very different to how they left them.
Most primary schools in the county started a phased re-opening this week following the Government’s current timetable.
Warwickshire county Council has been helping schools prepare for the return and to carry out risk assessments.
Pupils and parents were greeted with social distancing measures outside some school gates, and numerous signs reminding of the importance of staying two metres apart.
At Budbrooke Primary near Warwick they even had their own social distancing character who advises ‘Be smart, stay apart’, which has been specially created by local company Weedon Group.
