Pups enjoy a slice of the action in aid of Macmillan

PLAYFUL pups enjoyed a slice of the action at a coffee morning in Leamington.

Pooches in the Pump Room Gardens enjoyed dog-friendly cakes and biscuits while owners ate tea and cake ahead of the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday September 27.

The charity is hoping more people than ever will sign up to take part in the event – and even involve their four-legged-friends.

Last year some £250,000 was raised for Macmillan through coffee mornings across the county, but the charity hopes to top that figure this September.

Area fund-raising manager Lisajane Gooden said: “We hope people feel inspired to join in with this year’s event to help us raise the funds needed to continue providing financial, physical and emotional support to people living with cancer in the local area.”
