QUEEN Victoria was all aglow in Leamington.
West Midlands Railway (WMR) lit up famous landmarks across the Midlands, including Victoria’s statue outside Leamington Town Hall, in the company’s orange brand colour as part of a publicity campaign.
It was to highlight a £1billion investment by the rail operator which will include new and refurbished trains and more services, including at night and on Sundays.
Other landmarks to get the orange treatment included Coventry’s Lady Godiva statue and the Jester sculpture near Shakespeare’s Birthplace in Stratford.
