Repair Cafe to become regular fixture in Leamington

THE REPAIR Cafe is to become a regular feature in Leamington.

People can bring along items for repair to the Sydni centre on Saturday mornings, from 11am to 2pm.

Skilled volunteers will fix items for free although donations will be welcomed.

Team member Raphaelle Miller said: “Small electrical items, clothing, upholstery, bicycles, toys, saucepan handles and the like can often be repaired rather than thrown away.

“We’ll do our best to help you fix things. We’ve got a small stock of spares, but if you know you need something like a zip or a string for a necklace, it’s helpful if you can bring it with you. We’ve also got a list of local repairers for more specialist jobs.”

Anything electrical will be fully tested before it is taken away.

Visit Facebook page Repair Café Leamington Spa or call Luke at the Sydni Centre on 01926 422071 to find out more.
