A FORMER Leamington nightclub could be demolished and turned into huge flats if plans are given the green light.
Plans have been submitted to Warwick District Council to demolish Rio’s on Bedford Street and turn it into eight flats, each containing eight bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.
The club closed earlier this year shortly after being sold by long-time owner Chris Donnachie.
It is not yet known when the plans will be discussed by the council.
