SAFETY fears have been raised following reports teenagers were chasing horses around a field in Whitnash.
Police had reports of a group of teens in fields down Church Lane. They say along with causing distress for the animals it is also putting the teenagers at risk and are now urging parents to speak to warn about the dangers.
A spokesman said: “This is causing a lot of distress for the horses but police are also concerned someone could get hurt by the animals.
“Please if you have teenagers can you talk to them about approaching the horses just in case you are not aware as it could be your son or daughter causing distress for the animals.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and speak to police.
