Salvation Army opens up for business with new store

Leamington Editorial 30th Jan, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THE SALVATION Army has opened a new charity shop in Leamington.

The shop – opposite the Town Hall on the Parade – will support the charity’s work helping the homeless, elderly and others.

Area manager Sue Hindle said: “People have been so generous and the stock so far is looking fantastic, so we’re looking forward to welcoming the community inside to find some real gems.

“We’ve already got a fantastic local team in place but we’re always looking for extra shop volunteers to join team and we’d like to encourage anybody who’s interested to pop in and talk to our friendly staff.

“We’re also keen to encourage donations from the public, whether it’s clothes, shoes, accessories or homewares. We only ask that items are clean and in good condition.”
