STAFF at Dogs Trust Kenilworth are preparing for the arrival of Santa Paws ahead of it’s annual Christmas fair.
On Saturday (December 1) and Sunday (December 2) visitors are invited to get into the festive spirit by doing some Christmas shopping, taking part in a raffle, tombola and games and enjoying refreshments – and even dogs are invited.
There will be the chance for children and dogs to meet ‘Santa Paws’ during the fair which takes part between 12noon and 4pm at the centre in Honiley.
Dogs Trust spokeswoman Jane Hirons said: “Our Christmas fair is always a wonderful occasion. This year promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family – including the pooches.
“All the money raised, will go directly to caring for the dogs in our care so it’s a wonderful way to raise pounds for homeless hounds whilst getting into the Christmas spirit.”
The charity is calling on residents and businesses to donate prizes for the raffle and tombola by Friday (November 30). Previous prizes included bottles of bubbly, vouchers and Christmas hampers.
