Santas called to limber up for the Myton Hospices festive dash

SANTAS are limbering up for The Myton Hospice’s famous festive athletic feat.

The annual Santa Dash is taking place on Sunday December 11 and budding Father Christmases of all shapes and sizes are being called to pull on a Santa suit to run, jog or walk 5km around Victoria Park in Leamington.

And this year Myton is making its Santa Dash bigger and better than ever before – with a whole host of fun events and attractions to make it a great day out for the whole family.

The main Santa Dash will start at the usual time of 10am – with the more serious runners starting at the front. There will be a mass dance warm-up beforehand and a confetti cannon start with a special guest.

Everyone who takes part will receive a bespoke environmentally friendly medal made from recycled wood, which can also be re-used as a tree decoration.

Food and drink will be available, as well as musical performances from the Rock Choir and Leamington Brass, and a Christmas carol sing-along.

There will also be a pop up charity shop.

Race entry costs £17.50 for adults and £6 for children.

All the cash raised will go to Myton’s three hospices in Warwick, Rugby and Coventry.
