STUDENTS and staff at Myton School are celebrating after getting top marks from Ofsted inspectors.
The Warwick school received a ‘Good’ rating and their sixth form was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted following an inspection in February.
It represents an upgrading from last year’s report, since when, the school has appointed a new headteacher and chair of governors, and implemented a school improvement plan.
Myton’s Headteacher Andy Perry said: “I’m delighted that our sixth form has achieved a well-deserved outstanding grading from Ofsted and that the school overall has been upgraded.
“This represents a ringing endorsement for the work we have done and are continuing to do. I would like to thank all our students, staff, parents and carers for their hard work and support.”
