CURIOSITY was sparked at a school science fair in Leamington.
As part of British Science Week pupils at The Kingsley School covered a range of topics – from experiments with eggs to navigating the solar system.
And special guest, Warwick University professor Dr Miriam Gifford, talked about her career and work in biology and life sciences.
Head of chemistry Satinder Bains said: “Our first science fair was a great success, it was brilliant to see the year sevens so engaged with parents and other students in discussing their findings.
“Dr Gifford was a superb ambassador for science, telling of how her school days inspired her to pursue a career, and encouraging the pupils to continue to ignite their curiosities through a love of the subject.”
