Sensory garden unveiled in Jephson Gardens

Leamington Editorial 9th Jun, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

A SENSORY garden has been unveiled in Jephson Gardens, complete with edible fruits and even a xylophone.

The new garden has been created by Warwick District Council’s green spaces team and includes a mirrored archway, benches and insect homes to encourage pollination.

Green-fingered pupils from Our Lady and St Theresa’s Primary School planted 500 of their own sunflowers in time for the grand opening, which was attended by new mayor Amanda Stevens and Warwick District Council vice chairwoman Jane Knight.
