Sensory stay and play event at Warwick's Market Hall Museum

A SENSORY stay and play event is set to keep tots busy at Warwick’s Market Hall Museum.

Heritage and Culture Warwickshire (HCW) is launching the new session to run every first Friday of the month.

Babies and toddlers explore sensory toys and materials in open ended play.

HCW spokeswoman Rebecca Coles said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming babies and toddlers with their adults to the museum.

“These new sessions are going to offer a range of sensory toys and materials for families to play with. There will be a combination of activities you can replicate at home and some toys and materials you may not find on the high street.”

The session costs £3 for one child and £5 for two. It takes place in the Tapestry Gallery upstairs. A lift and buggy park are available.

The first session is on Friday February 7 from 10.30am to noon.

Warwickshire Family Information Service will also be on hand to signpost parents to different groups and organisations for help and advice.
