SHOPPERS looking for some peace and quiet can enjoy a dedicated hour in Morrisons.
Customers who struggle with music and noise associated with supermarket shopping are invited to a ‘quieter hour’ at the Old Warwick Road Store between 9am and 10am every Saturday.
The initiative has been developed with the National Autistic Society and is aimed at those who are autistic or have autistic children.
During the quieter hour the store will turn the music off, dim the lights, avoid making tannoy announcements, reduce moving trolleys and baskets and turn down checkout beeps.
